Steel Industry

85% of the vanadium production is used in steel industry.

The application of vanadium product includes carbon steel, low alloy high-strength steel, high alloy steel, tool steel etc.

With high strength and tenacity, the vanadium steel is widely used in steel materials such as steel bars, construction and oil pipeline, high-speed tool steel, and also machinery, automobiles, shipbuilding and railways.

Metal alloy

10% of the vanadium is applied to non-ferrous metal alloys and mainly used in the production of titanium alloys.

Vanadium can be used as a stabilizer in titanium alloys due to its good ductility and deformability.

Titanium alloy can be applied to the field of rocket,  aircraft, aerospace, jet engines and other aerospace industry.

Battery

In addition to main application, 5% of vanadium can be applied to the battery industry.

Vanadium is used as an essential element to produce a new type of clean energy storage system called Vanadium Redox Battery (VRB).

Vanadium Redox Battery is verified globally and it can be expected that the application of Vanadium Redox Battery can boost up the medium and long-term demand for vanadium.
